Stallion Moving

Awful service, DO NOT USE stallion movers, I regret using them every time I look at my broken sofa!!

I purchased a discounted rate for stallion via groupon. The communication from Stallion should have been my first red flag, it took several phone calls before I was able to speak to someone in their office because "they were having internet issues".

The moving crew that showed up was not the professional, experience movers I was expecting but rather it was one 19 year old girl who was on her first day of the job, a 19 year old boy who informed me before picking up a single box that they do work for tips, and a 24 year old man who seemed to be in charge. The trio worked fast enough however they seemed to care very little for my belongings. Boxes clearly marked "FRAGILE" " DO NOT STACK" were treated with disregard and we heard several boxes tumble over as they were being loaded and unloaded from the truck. One of the movers knocked over our bikes and took a chunk of out the drywall, "woops".

For unloading the truck we had simple instructions, "read the top of the box and put the box in the according room. Yet somehow every box was dumped in the living room for us to sort out later. Some boxes ended up upside down, some marked "FRAGILE" or "DO NOT STACK
" (as previously mentioned) wound up on the bottom of stacks of boxes.

When everything was unloaded and they were attempting to finalize paperwork, Joe the owner, gets on the phone to ask how the service was (perhaps these questions should come AFTER the workers leave if you want honest feedback) and while I am on the phone with him, one of the movers break the leg off a sofa while leaning on the sofa. I told Joe right then that we had an issue because a mover broke my furniture. The movers apologize, take some pictures of the damage and assure me that Joe would be in touch to make it right. 3 days went by with no contact. I reached out to them to ask what they were going to do and they told me to send an email detailing the incident and then I get an Eform to file an insurance claim with some 3rd party. Still to this day the owner, Joe has not once talked to me about the damage or apologized for his workers conduct. Awful customer service, awful movers, awful experience.

My move took place on April 11th and I am still trying to get resolution.  Stallion Mover's damaged my metal headboard and refuses to repair or replace.  The GM (who is no longer employed) sent me a letter stating they would find someone to repair my metal headboard.  I phoned the company a few weeks ago and asked to speak with the GM Dylan.  A lady answeed the phone and said they didn't have a Dylan on staff and disconnected my call.  I phoned back and spoke with the owner which I believe to be John P.  Our conversation didn't go well, he was frustrated with his company management and with me for requesting a replacement or a repair.  John actually hung up on me!  I followed up with one more phone call and an email, all of which have been ignored.  I find the owner's actions completely unprofessional.      .

Service cost: $566

The movers were a little late but called me to let me know the last job went overtime so no harm no foul. Aaron and Froest were very professional, worked hard and took care of things like this was their own home. I have only had experience with movers the Milatary set up and they surpassed my expectations. I will probably never move again but I would recommend this company to all my friends and family. They were a lot less expensive than I had budgeted for so that is a bonus as well.

The movers from Stallion Moving were great! My wife bought a half price 2 hour daily deal from a Groupon like site. My move took 4 hours total and that's 2 hours less than last time! These guys were great. When I spoke with John from Stallion, he was very polite and accommodating. He answered all my questions and made sure to confirm our details. The day of the move went very well, the movers were a few minutes behind schedule. I was told this was because a morning move ran over time. I find that understandable. I was amply compensated for my timing inconvenience. The movers worked hard and diligently. They put blankets and wrap on all my furniture to make sure it was protected. Nothing was damaged or lost. I would definitely recommend Stallion Moving.

I purchased a Living Social deal good for 2 hours of moving service. I called to make the reservation with Stallion and they said that they did not have just two movers and I would need to rent a truck from them to get the crew. I was fine with that and made the reservation 2-3 weeks ahead of the date. Moving day has arrived and I am waiting for a call between 830-10am to say the movers have left and they have started charging time. I get a call at 920am and the guy says "One of the movers is running late, they will call you soon when they leave". I wait 20 minutes and call the guy back and I get the same excuse. I wait another 20 minutes and call and he says he will call the shop to figure out and I should hear something soon. I wait another 20 minutes and then call the shop. They give me the same excuse and say they don't know what to do because the guy hasn't shown up and they are short staffed. I say I want the clock to start when the movers get to my house and to please call me back when they are able to tell me when someone will be there. I then wait an hour before calling again and they ask me if they can reschedule for a different day. I was furious at this point and after having planned on this moving date for 2-3 weeks I could not move things around to accommodate them messing up. I then called Living Social to just get a refund and they call Stallion to check my story and see that they were cancelling on me. Stallion tells Living Social that one of their dispatchers was in a car wreck but they would be able to move me later in the day. I explain to Living Social the madness I have gone through and the multiple excuses I have received and am able to get my money back. I would never recommend Stallion Moving Services and it is obvious that they do not know how to treat their customers. They are completely unreliable and will give you excuse after excuse. DO NOT EVEN THINK OF USING THEM!

I hired Stallion to help me move from Golden to Denver, and I have to say that I'm very impressed with them. When the move date came and a couple of young guys came, I was a bit nervous, but they were both very professional and polite. While they were moving my stuff, they not only wrapped everything, they carried it all very carefully and then RAN, not walked, back up the stairs for the next load.

All in all, I'll be certain to call them first the next time I move.

Stallion Moving was so helpful. They gave me great assistance over the phone when I called for a quote, held up to everything they said and promised me, and sent 2 of the best guys, Mylon and Justing, to help us move. They were quick, which was important since I was paying by the hour, they were strong, which was needed because I couldn't lift half the things they were, and they were friendly and honest, which was extremely important! I will continue to use this company for things in the future and I recommend them to everyone!!
